TAGC Registration Support for Global Scientists

Supported by our generous partners, GSA is offering this award to provide a registration waiver for scientists from low- and middle-income countries, historically Black colleges and universities, or SACNAS members planning to attend TAGC 2024 in person or virtually. Undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, and faculty are welcome to apply. You will need to upload a copy of your CV/resume as part of your application.

TAGC Attendance Support for Minoritized Scientists

Supported by the National Science Foundation (Grant number: MCB-2344806), GSA is offering this award to provide registration and travel support for minoritized early career scientists residing in the United States, planning to attend TAGC in person. Undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs are welcome to apply. You will need to upload a copy of your CV/resume as part of your application.

GSA Undergraduate Travel Awards

Undergraduate GSA members are eligible to apply for a GSA Undergraduate Travel Award. The awards provide funds to offset costs associated with attending and presenting your research at a GSA conference, including TAGC 2024.  Applications closed on November 8, 2023.

DeLill Nasser Award for Professional Development in Genetics

Graduate student and postdoctoral GSA members are eligible to apply for this award to support travel costs for conferences and courses, including TAGC 2024.

The deadline to apply was 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 21, 2023.

Registration Fee Waiver for Scientists from Low- and Middle-Income Countries 

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, we can offer free registration to scientists from countries with low- and middle-income economies. LMIC Registration Waiver Application will open August 1, 2023. The waiver application closed December 6, 2023.

Caregiver Support

GSA is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible conference environment for all scientists, including those who are parents or caregivers. For TAGC 2024, the Society will be offering Childcare and Dependent Grants to help offset the cost of childcare for parents attending the conference.
